What is your pricing? How much does catering cost per person?

All of our proposals are customized and dependent on many factors, so there is not a set or standard pricing. Once we gather the basic details regarding your event (i.e. date, location, number of guests, cocktail, buffet, or plated, and budget) we will send you suggested menus and a breakdown of costs such as rentals and staffing that will help estimate what is needed to produce your event.

Should I have a buffet or sit down dinner? What is the difference?

We offer a variety of catering options. Basically, a BUFFET may be served either hot or cold, depending on the season, time and style of event. All food items will be presented on platters, trays or in chafing dishes. Our staffing requirements for an event with a hot or cold buffet tend to be less than for an event with full sit-down service.

A SIT-DOWN event consists of three to seven courses of plated foods that will be served to each guest individually by a Crème de la Crème server.

BUFFET STATIONS create yet another atmosphere for any event. Throughout the venue, there will be different buffet stations, each featuring individual “theme foods” so you can provide food choices for the varying tastes of all your guests.

How do you determine the staffing I will need for my event? How long will they be onsite?

The guest count, service style (buffet, sit-down, or stations) and location are the primary indicators for the service required to assure your event runs smoothly.

Typical setup is from two to three hours, depending on the size and scale of the event. Our recommendation is that you allocate at least 2-1/2 hours for setup in order to ensure that all details are handled prior to the beginning of your affair.

The menu has so many options, how do I know what to choose?

In choosing your menu items, we recommend that you begin with the heartiest choices first. For a Sit Down or Buffet, select the entrée(s) first. For a Cocktail menu, select the Stationary Hors d’oeuvres first (if you are having them). Then select the tray passed hors d’oeuvres, salad, soup, appetizer and/or dessert.

For hors d’oeuvres selections, please keep in mind that tray passed hors d’oeuvres “bring the party” to your guests and stationary items provide more substantial food choices and/or draw people to a specific location within the event. We create menu choices that are very “user friendly” and can be eaten while standing, conversing or holding a beverage.

Successfully complete your event with just the right dessert selection. Each of our dessert menus contains various selections from the following dessert categories: chocolate, nut, citrus, fruit and coffee flavors. Although selections in each of these categories are fantastic, we recommend that you avoid redundancy in making your choices.

Finally, always select what YOU would like to offer to your guests first. Our talented event staff can help you round out the menu to ensure that all guests experience the best of what Crème de la Crème has to offer.

Do you cook the food on-site, or bring it in already cooked?

We cook your meals on-site for the best flavor and freshness. Some prep and partial cooking of items, such as chopping vegetables, baking breads and desserts, and searing meats occur in our central kitchen prior to your event.

Do you provide rentals or other event services?

We are happy to coordinate rentals for your event through local rental companies, such as Signature, Classic, or any company you choose. We also have great vendor relationships throughout the industry, and will gladly assist you in sourcing and choosing the right furniture, place settings, lighting, and sound for your unique event!

How soon should I call to book my event?

It’s never too early to get started in planning your soiree, in fact, the sooner we begin, the sooner you can breathe a sigh of relief because it’s been taken off your plate.

The earlier you book, the sooner you can lock in your date with us. Unlike some other caterers, we never take on more events than we know we can execute perfectly, so we will have busy times when we make the difficult decision to turn down a client. We want every client to be 100% satisfied, every time, and that means knowing our limits and taking the time to focus on each individual event.

How late is too late to book my event?

We can often accommodate last-minute events, so you should never think it’s too late to book us. Life happens, and we will do our utmost to make an event happen in any timeframe.
